All of the San Diego fireworks go off at once.

It's okay, San Diego. Going off early can happen to anyone. It's nothing to be ashamed of. For those nine seconds you lasted, it was amazing.

Happy blowing shit up day! I know this is rushed, but I've had the scene in my head for months (since miome gave it to me), and I just needed an excuse to write it. Totally AU, because everyone is about 9-10 in this and they already know each other.

It's been a steady, cold rain all day long. So I doubt there will be any fireworks here tonight. Maybe tomorrow.

In good news, I sent off a couple of paragraphs outlining my experience to the prospective job. Crossing my fingers that they like what they see.

Last night miome and I went on a cruise on Lake Michigan where we ate good food, listened to okay music, watched the Chicago fireworks over the lake from the cruise, and then watched drunk people attempt to dance on a rocking boat. Good times ( Read more... )
